During the reunion in Nashville this year, as in the past,
will be holding several raffles each evening.
To support this members have donated many items
that can be used in the raffle.

Just about anything of value can be used as a prize.
In the past we have had items such as
golf balls, hats, t-shirts, art and craft items that people
have made themselves, sports or military memorabilia and food and drink items.

50/50 raffle that will be held at the banquet.

FOR OFFICERS AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
General elections will be held at the next business meeting on Saturday, May 23rd
2015 at 2:00 PM, during the Nashville Reunion.
Brief Description of Duties:
A. The President and
Vice President are the senior members of the Association leadership. The President presides over the Board of Directors and
directs the activities of the Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. He participates in the required financial audits. The
President will appoint a regular member to fill a vacancy on the Board, should such occur between elections.
The Secretary maintains Association records including those of membership; prepares and publishes summaries and results of
Board votes; maintains and publishes minutes of General Meetings; prepares such notices and reports as may be required, and
has overall responsibility for the preparation and publication of the newsletter. He participates in the required financial
C. The Treasurer performs the usual duties of a treasurer of a not-for-profit corporation; safeguards
the assets of the Association; assures compliance with State and Federal requirements and Board of Directors directives; reports
up-to-date Association income and expenses to the Board of Directors. Under the authority of the President of the Association,
the Treasurer is responsible for providing an Annual Report on the Association's finances. The report will contain beginning
balance on hand; cash received, by sources; disbursements from the Association Account; outstanding liabilities, and ending
balance. The Annual Financial Report will be audited by the President (Chairman of the Board) and the Association's Secretary
prior to presentation at the Annual Meeting.
D. The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Association.
The Board shall approve and supervise all business, determine policies and in general assume responsibility for the support
and guidance of the affairs of the Association. The Board shall decide the policies of the Association, shall settle discussions
of eligibility, election, expulsion, or reinstatement of any officer or member, and shall settle any discussion of other matters
that may influence the welfare of the Association.
Candidates should note that involvement as an OFFICER will require
between 15 - 20 hours per month and much more just before and during the reunions and often attend weekly meetings.
A DIRECTOR's involvement will require between 5-10 hours per month and require attendance at monthly meetings as well as involvement
in special projects.
All those who wish to be nominated or want to nominate someone else, are invited to furnish the
following information for the nominee, and send it to the Secretary by emailing it to email@example.com.

The active 199th Brigade Ft. Benning, GA
has been working on a display honoring the men of the 199th who were awarded the Medal of Honor and the Distinguished Service
Cross during the Vietnam War. They are trying to locate pictures past or present of these men. If you have any pictures of
these men please forward them with any information about the man or the picture you may have. You can e-mail them to firstname.lastname@example.org or if you cannot send them electronically please contact Sam Toven for

2014 New Orleans Reunion
Before I start posting pictures from
the reunion (which I will be doing everyday this week) I want to take the time to thank someone whose efforts made it
possible for all of us to have the great time that we did. Mary Tucker is my choice for MVP of the 2014 reunion. I can not
even tell you the extent of her efforts over the past year working on putting this reunion together. She went above and beyond
all of our expectations to make sure we all had a good time. I am sure that all in attendance would agree with me.
